The Graduate School CE is based on the existing MSc CE programme and complements it by a PhD programme. After the first year of study the most talented students of the master programme will have the chance to join the Graduate School. There, they directly enter the PhD track without the need of fully completing the standard MSc programme and obtaining the Master degree, e.g., without the obligation to write a traditional master thesis.
The selection of the successful applicants will be based on three criteria: grades obtained in the qualifying exams, submitted individual statements, and individual interviews with at least two of the professors affiliated with the Graduate School.
